Pursue your Doctor of Nursing Practice – Professional Leadership Specialization online. From core coursework covering leadership principles, health services research, and statistics, you will have the opportunity to build a solid foundation of management and administrative skills. Then, you will choose seven electives to customize your education to your personal and professional goals.
Our DNP program with a professional leadership specialization offers practice-based instruction from an industry-experienced nursing faculty. You begin your studies with a focus on five key competencies for effective professional leadership: Leadership, Business Intelligence, Finance, Health Policy, and Health Services Research. From there, rather than follow a set curriculum, you will customize your curriculum, choosing from a multitude of electives to round out your education.
