Computer Science — Master of Science Program

Master of Science in Computer Science

Do you enjoy solving puzzles, building systems, or experimenting with emerging technologies? If you are fascinated by artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the power of algorithms, Post University’s Master of Science in Computer Science program was designed to help you grow your skills in ways that align with your goals—whether professional, academic, or personal.

As a student in our computer science graduate program, you will have the opportunity to explore topics such as machine learning, software engineering, advanced algorithms, and cloud computing. The curriculum is designed to help you build the technical knowledge and critical thinking skills used to design scalable systems, secure data environments, and address complex challenges through innovative technology solutions.

Customize your degree by choosing one of three career-focused concentrations:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Cybersecurity and Secure Software Systems
  • Human-Centered Computing and Systems Innovation

The program culminates in a capstone project that brings together prior coursework in an intensive, faculty-mentored experience guided by an industry-aligned agile framework.

Upon completion of the MS in Computer Science, students could:

  • Use advanced theories and methodologies to solve computational problems
  • Build and protect scalable software and information systems
  • Develop a solid theoretical foundation to solve real-world computing challenges
  • Safeguard digital assets by implementing cybersecurity measures
  • Help an organization adapt to changing industry demands and emerging technologies

A STEM-Graduate Degree Program

To help address a shortage of qualified workers in science, technology, engineering, and math, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) keeps a list of STEM topics that it periodically updates. Programs like our MS in Computer Science, which explores using technological knowledge to design scalable systems and address complex challenges through innovative technology solutions, qualify for that list by providing a deeper understanding of relevant STEM fields.

Not eligible for Title IV funding through the U.S. Department of Education.
