Bachelor of Science Program

Bachelor of Science in Sport Management

At Post University, our undergraduate degree in sports management program begins with an exploration of the foundations of the field. Your program then takes deep dives into specific business areas of the sports industry, such as societal sport, sport administration, sporting events and facility management, sports marketing, sport law, and sport economics. In each course, an emphasis is placed on adapting to the fast-paced change of sport management, integrating business concepts, building sport communication skills, and developing a highly ethical and professional business management style. You will also have the opportunity to examine global perspectives on sports.

The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management program provides the learning experiences you could use to enhance your overall understanding of how to manage in an industry based on one or many sports. Your program explores fundamentals for sport event and facility management, sport economics, sport management, sport marketing, and more. There is also a required sport management internship to provide the opportunity to develop valuable hands-on experience in a sport management setting. Our program also offers the ability to customize your degree to your future goals with concentration options in:

  • Sport Communication
  • Sport Psychology

During your coursework, you will have the opportunity to build up your knowledge of business essentials and sport management principles to:

  • Use strategic planning, creativity, and innovation to adapt to the changing sport management environment
  • Integrate and apply concepts from different business disciplines to solve complex sport management issues
  • Develop a global perspective for a multicultural and multinational sports world
  • Employ professional behaviors in today’s sport business situations
  • Write, speak, and communicate to a variety of audiences more professionally

Upon graduation, you will receive a bachelor’s degree from a program designed to help you develop and maximize your sport management understanding and abilities.
